The uniqueness and versatility of Straptight® is unmatched.  Why would you use anything else?

They say “necessity is the mother of invention”. When Straptight’s founder’s beloved guitar fell off the strap while using one of the “leading” strap locks he was devastated. The guitar hit the ground headstock first causing the fretboard to separate from the neck. From that moment on we vowed to come up with a simpler, more effective solution. After over a year of research, development and design, Straptight® was born. Utilizing strong yet flexible high-grade proprietary material, Straptight® will fit virtually all strap posts and straps. Straptight® will even fit on an existing strap lock post. With no tools or hardware required, Straptight® installation takes less than 3 seconds. Just place the open end of Straptight® on the strap post, give a slight twist and push in. Removing Straptight® is just a quick twist and pull.

Unlike the leading strap lock systems that raise your strap 1-2 inches off the guitar, Straptight’s low profile design keeps your strap where it should be…ON your guitar. Other strap locks have nuts that always come loose. In fact, no matter how tight you make the nut it will always require tightening. With other strap locks your strap is attached to that strap lock. If that strap lock fails your strap comes off the guitar. So in essence it isn’t really locking your strap to anything other than itself. With Straptight strap locks your strap is attached to the strap post on your guitar eliminating this problem. Think of it as a safety net.

Using Straptight®, it is virtually impossible to pull a guitar strap directly off the guitar. Straptight® is made in the U.S.A. and has a patent pending design which will lock your strap in place with vice-like tenacity.

Straptight® is especially important for vintage guitar lovers. No one with a vintage instrument wants to modify any part of it. Every time you unscrew your existing strap post you are compromising the integrity of the hole. With Straptight® there are no modifications required to the guitar and you can play confidently knowing the strap won’t come off the post.
Another common issue with other strap locks is “Micro-phonic Transference“. This is the phenomenon that is proprietary to metal strap locks. As the strap lock moves or turns on your guitar it makes noise. That noise is then transferred through your guitar, into your pickups and out of the amplifier.

In short, Straptight® is the thinnest, most secure, lightest, most flexible and most versatile strap lock on the market. Do yourself a favor and grip two today.
